If you haven't heard, Leslie Nielsen passed away, this morning. due to pneumonia. The Forbidden Planet star was 84.

Man.....first Ingrid Pitt, now Leslie...November has been a bad month.
As Uncle Forrie use to say Prince Sirkee (sic) has been busy. Rest in Peace Mr. Nielsen, my viewings of Police Squad will never be the same.

I guess any actor is remembered best in as many different roles as there are fans.
I remember Leslie Neilson best as the kindly Maj Gifford in the Don Knotts comedy - The Reluctant Astronaut.
Come to think of it, didn't he portray the heavy (with-anners) parts?
